Esophagus. Sarcophagus. Platypus. Snuffleupagus.
Those are fun words to think about, right? We found them very handy as we became complacent in the Bills’ 4th quarter (with the Bills playing their back-ups in a regular season game) on Monday. The Titans did too but they may have been playing since the start of the Bills 41-7 blowout win on Monday Night Football.
And by “the Titans did too,” we mean thinking about those words.
This upcoming Sunday Afternoon (yes, a daylight game!), the Bills take on the Dolphins in Miami. Phin Phans are being phlim-phlammed into thinking they are the “Top Sushi on the Block” after Tuna Tag’s pretty good game this past week. Come join us for the 1 PM kick-off at South Street to see if we get bored by Quarter Quatro again!
Perhaps by then, this week, we can ponder this question and answer found on the Interwebs:
“Dolphins and porpoises are two of the most popular marine mammals, often admired for their intelligence and playful nature. While they share many similarities, there are also some crucial differences. One question that often comes up is whether or not these two animals can mate.
“The answer is yes, dolphins and porpoises can mate. However, it should be noted that they are not technically the same species.”
The sad thing for Phlabbergasted Phlipper Phanatics is the article also states:
“As dolphin and porpoise populations continue to decline, hybridization may become increasingly common, potentially impacting the long-term health of these vital marine mammals.”
Sounds like we may be playing the Miami Dolphoies some day.
PS: Thanks T.A. for the Tuafish idea….we will look for you in the crowd at the game.
