What a year for Buffalo, on so many levels. How wonderful it would be for our community to see the Bills hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February. First things first! Our boys need to handle business this Sunday. Gotta Squish the Fish, and their over-rated coach (but goofy and cuddly). Wonder if he still wishes it were colder?
Without further ado, here are some important details/announcements for this week’s playoff game at South Street Brewery.
GAME TIME: SUNDAY JANUARY 15th @ 1:00 PM!
SHOW UP EARLY! SHARE TABLES! SEATING AND CAPACITY IS LIMITED to 215!
If you were in attendance yesterday, you no doubt noticed that South Street was packed! Every table was full, and there were 120+ in attendance. South Street capacity is 215 and that includes standing room. For the playoffs, South Street will most likely have a person at the door to keep track of occupancy. So, we highly advise folks to show up early if you want to secure a seat. Doors open at 11:00 am! We also encourage everyone to share tables as best you can as we anticipate there will be plenty of people who will need to stand.
50/50 RAFFLE and CVILLE BILSNER to benefit C.A.R.S.
Throughout the playoffs and Super Bowl, South Street Brewery will be donating $1.00 from the sale of every C’Ville Bilsner, and we will be dedicating our 50/50 raffle to support the Charlottesville Albemarle Rescue Squad (C.A.R.S.).
Learn More About Charlottesville Albemarle Rescue Squad (C.A.R.S.)
We have been in touch with C.A.R.S. and they have expressed their gratitude for our efforts in support of their mission (in part) “To provide continuously improving high quality emergency medical and special rescue services to the citizens of the Charlottesville, Albemarle and the University of Virginia communities by utilizing the collaborative effort of a diverse team of highly skilled volunteers in alliance with partner agencies.” Along with their effort to provide CPR classes to anyone and everyone in our community. We will have C.A.R.S. representative, Chief Virginia Leavell address our gathering at half-time.
C.A.R.S. has a few volunteer CPR instructors, and should soon be able to offer some night and weekend group class options. Ideal group class sizes are about 8-12 per group. Please see the attached link for more details, and fill out the contact form to inquire about scheduling a class.
We strongly encourage everyone to take one of their CPR classes. Details can be found at https://rescue1.org/cpr-classes/.
South Street Kudos
A very profound thank you must go out to Allison Rowell, and her incredible staff, at South Street Brewery for stepping up and providing us a home away from home. We are very thankful for this amazing partnership.
Thank you, Bills Mafia! See you on Wildcard Sunday!
