In Baltimore’s dark stadium, where shadows creep and crawl,
The Ravens and the Bills will engage in pigskin’s fateful brawl.
One of our tables, the Ravens’ fans thought to claim Sunday night their own,
But a victory Baltimore bone?
Quoth the Bills, “Nevermore.”
Lamar in azure, with arm of steel and might,
Hurled spirals and ran amuck, a most ungodly sight.
While the Ravens’ defense scrambled, their talons sharp but vain,
They’d thought they’d stop the Bills with pain.
Quoth the Bills, “Nevermore.”
Each play we watched and saw the CBBB prize drawing won,
The scoreboard tolled the Ravens’ doom before the night was done.
As we ate the Old Bay Dry Rub wings with joy,
The South Street regulars asked if there be any Ravens late ploy?
Quoth the Bills, “Nevermore.”
When finally the whistle shrieked to end this gloomy game,
‘Twas Buffalo victorious, the Ravens bowed in shame.
So let it be remembered, on fields both far and near,
How the Bills vanquished the Ravens, leaving naught but ghostly fear.
Quoth the Bills, “Nevermore.”
The final score, a testament to Buffalo’s dominant ways,
The Bills ascendant, triumphant, the Ravens in malaise.
In Buffalo, they’ll celebrate long into the spectral night,
While Baltimore laments, “Shall we ever win the fight?
“Ah, nevermore.”
